I wrote this track first while living in a studio at Igeldammsgatan in Stockholm in 1999. I had the fortune to get free hands in a small studio room, having Genelecs 1030A, Logic platinum and a 16-track mixer table at my hands.
I didnt know squat about recording or mixertables. The environment had several extremely talented producers (Micke Db, Johan Gunnarsson, Lars Edvall, Niclas Kings, Niclas Berwall) hanging around. You could say I was just catching the drift, watching how to.
Thanks to Sten Hårdbåge, CEO of Longbow Songs, a sublabel of Sony,
I had the oppurtunity a few people get. To learn and use and write without being up-and -running from scratch.
I will always be greatful to him and that.
Hes the absolutely best man Ive ever known.
Then in 2005 I started playing with some of the best musicians in Gothenburg available. These brilliant people backed me up on live-gigs and also helped me record this song in a new interpretation with their own arrangement under the lead of a great producer/mixer: Dan Johansson. The song was recorded in his studio with the following:
first guitar: Magnus "Maggan" Hartelius
rhythm/solo guitar: Kent Börjesson
Bass guitar/lap-steel: Stefan Bellnäs
Drums/percussion: Dan Johansson
Keyboards: Kalle Stinzing
vocals: JM Erikson
lyrics
Digerdöden
text/melodi: J.M Eriksson
Kärleken följer i mina fotspår

This musician is not only one of the nicest, most brilliant and good-looking people Ive met , but also a great mixer/performer as well. Check out his his music and show him some love! JM Erikson aka Sekalita
This is one-hell-of-a-Swedish songwriter!! :) When I was a Young girlie performer I first met with him in Gothenburg. I backed him once on a gig in Magasinet in his band. Show some love for Dolving! JM Erikson aka Sekalita
El Perro del Mar returns! Pushing even further into abstraction, these seven songs are defined by heavy atmospherics and ghostly vocals. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 23, 2020
Alex Henry Foster again collaborates with Canadian-Japanese artist Momoka, who also translates the lyrics from English to Japanese. Bandcamp New & Notable May 7, 2024
